Hey there, photography enthusiast! I've got a heartwarming story for you today, straight from the beautiful town of Golden, Colorado. So, grab your camera, settle in, and let's dive into the enchanting elopement of Brian and Monica.

Nestled amidst the stunning Rocky Mountains, Golden served as the perfect backdrop for this intimate celebration of love. As a portrait photographer based in Denver, capturing the essence of Brian and Monica's love story was an absolute joy. I had never been to the courthouse in Jefferson County for portrait photography before and it was such a lovely building! Had we wanted more inside shots I think we could have just explored and explored! But since they love hiking and being outside, we spent the majority of time nestled up against the hill just behind the Golden courthouse.

From the moment they stepped in front of my lens, it was evident that their connection was something truly special. They shared those sweet, stolen glances that make any photographer's heart skip a beat. Brian's eyes sparkled every time he looked at Monica, and she couldn't help but blush at his adoring gaze.

We journeyed up a little hill behind the courthouse, but it felt like we were nestled up against the nearby mountains. Brian and Monica weren't afraid to get a little dirty or wet, and their laughter and good spirits made the whole moment just so special. I couldn't have asked for a more dynamic and photogenic couple.

One of their favorite things to do together is snowboard. In fact, on Monica’s first day out, she realized that because of Brian’s kindness and patience, they had something special. If encouragement, communication, and support are constantly in their marriage, she realized there wouldn’t ever be any obstacle they couldn’t overcome.

I’m going to give a shout-out to them now for the way they rocked their poses!! I like giving minimal direction so the images still feel like you, but when I make adjustments and they come out like models — call me impressed!!!

I also adore capturing the moments that are totally candid — like when Brian was so enthralled with seeing Monica’s ring on her hand. Just looking at how excited he is makes me so happy.
