Abbie doesn’t live in Lakewood. But she is a graduate. I feel so privileged that she came all the way up from Colorado City so that I could document her high school graduation photos.

From Colorado City to Lakewood

The drive up I-25 isn’t always the most pleasant, so I wanted to make sure we maximized the time and the location we had decided upon. Belmar Park has loads of options for graduation photos.

Bohemian and Modern

Abbie had two photo outfits. The beautiful bohemian dress looked great in more natural settings. We walked to the fields and the trees and had beautiful mountain backdrops.

Her modern and edgy outfit was perfect for some of the buildings, boardwalk and the Belmar Park amphitheater. Of course we did the classic photo with the tassle.

Props and Photo Session Feel

The last few images of the afternoon graduation photo session we got to use some props that she had brought with her. Abbie loves many things, including art and the Bible. So we finished off the graduation session with some photos of her reading in the afternoon light.
