Navigating the teen years! I understood Stephanie so well when she said they wanted to do a fall family photo session to commemorate that they are surviving these years! But after spending a beautiful fall afternoon with them, I believe theyβre doing much more than surviving β she and her husband are doing a great job navigating the twists and turns of the teenage years with a whole lot of laughter and love.
We were all hoping for some fall colors to be hanging on and we got our wish! Can I just say that they rocked this shot in front of the grasses?!?
Speaking of rocking it! Iβm going to do a shoutout to Stephanie for not only choosing some great combinations for the outfits for fall photos, but just being easygoing and keeping things running smoothly despite the whirlwind of teen energy swirling around her. She made sure the fam got to participate in a fun activity prior to the shoot and promised they would rejoin the group when we were finished. Way to be a super mom!!
Stephanie describes her husband as the serious one. Now while that might be true for when itβs needed, I saw a man who was ready to be a totally fun and goofy dad to make his kids smile (just wait until you see the dinosaur photo).
Next up we have Sophie, who is armed with intelligence and always on a mission to outsmart her brother at every turn.
And here he is! This goofball is always ready with a joke, a prank, or something to add humor to even the most mundane moments. He definitely keeps everyone on their toes and ensures thereβs never a dull moment!
So there you have it! This beautiful family is proving in real time that surviving the teen years is not just about getting through them, but really embracing the journey with laughter, love, and a touch of sibling mischief.
